Introduction

This is a living document.

While it is intended to provide some concrete detail on how these particular models might work, it is by no means a finished document. Comments from the public are very welcome and the document will evolve and grow to absorb those contributions from the community.

Included are brief descriptions of each model, accompanied by some arguments about their strengths and weaknesses. Also included are the changes to the constitution that each model would require.

We hope this paper will help to clarify some of the key issues and contribute to building the republic that can accommodate the best of our traditions and our hopes for the future.
