The republic referendum is only about eleven months away! Whilst the Government has not set the final date as yet, the ARM understands that November 6 and November 13 are being considered for the referendum. It is now or never! The debate has also been hotting up in the media - an open letter by former Chief Justice Sir Anthony Mason in December set the debate alight again with a well-considered development of the public nomination process.
