Allison is the Founding Director of Millwood Consulting, a niche agency focused on improving the effectiveness and impact of non-government and not-for-profit organisations in their engagement with governments. Between 2006 and 2011, Allison was a Ministerial Advisor in the Rudd and Gillard Governments, including as a senior advisor to the Prime Minister.
Allison lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, is a devoted aunt to four potential future Australian Presidents, and is a rabid Sydney Swans supporter.
