Victorian Branch Update

Last December the Victorian Branch lodged a submission to a Victorian parliamentary inquiry suggesting changes to the current oath of allegiance to the Queen.  Subsequently the parliamentary committee has recommended that the current oath of allegiance to the Queen be amended.  We are now endeavouring to see that the Victorian Government acts on this advice.

The recent International Comedy Festival provided a great opportunity for Victorian members to get together and have a good laugh.  About 30 members and supporters had a few drinks before enjoying the comedic delights of comedian Mark Watson.

We will have a public debate with a representative of the monarchists on radio station SYN FM on 19 May. Should be fun!
