Hi all, in our first meeting of the year we planned our events for 2010.

  • 20 January 2010 - Branch Council Meeting
  • 3 March 2010 - Branch Council Meeting, 7pm at Irish Club (upstairs), Brisbane CBD
  • 28 March 2010 - Training Day (open to all interested members)
  • 6 May 2010 - 'Beneath Hill 60' movie night, 6pm at Palace Barracks Cinema ($25 including a welcome drink) - email qld@republic.org.au
  • 19 May 2010 - Branch Council Meeting
  • 20 June 2010 - Republic Upstairs Function, Melbourne Hotel, West End, Brisbane, 2pm. Guest Speaker: Nick Earls
  • 21 July 2010 - Branch Council Meeting (at private residence: contact Convenor to RSVP and get address at qld@republic.org.au)
  • 1 August 2010 - Northen Rivers Forum Launch, Renaissance Room, Twin Towns Club, Wharf Street, Tweed Heads, 10am for 10.30am start
  • 15 September 2010 - Branch Council Meeting
  • September/October 2010 - Sunday afternoon movie fundraiser
  • November 2010 - Annual General Meeting (& BBQ), Legislative Assembly Chamber, Queensland Parliament

Throughout the year there will also be forums, stalls and other activity. Most of all, we will be advertising dates for regular branch meetings and all members are invited to come along.
