The republican movement’s push for Coast support for an Australian Republic by 2015 is being driven in part by a grade 12 high school student.

Maroochydore High captain Mark Pennini is the media liaison and youth officer for the newly formed Sunshine Coast forum Committee of the Australian Republican Movement.
